Priests of Asubah

The Priests of Asubah practice strict religious asceticism through monastic living, earning them the title of monks. Their primary institution—the Monastery of Alaroh—is located on Alaroh Island, where they worship the primal God Asubah. Secluded and neutral, the Priests maintain minimal contact with the outside world, limited to traders and pilgrims visiting the eastern shrine. On the same island lie the haunting ruins of the Great Cathedral of Alaroh, once a magnificent structure on the island’s eastern edge. The cathedral was destroyed during the Ad’rath Meteor Catastrophe, when followers of Taar, corrupted by the Void, diverted the meteor toward the city of Avlon. The resulting earth tremor razed the cathedral to the ground.

The monks are neutral and are not aligned with any specific faction, even though they worship Asubah.

To this day, adventurers scour its forgotten catacombs in search of treasures. However, the corruption unleashed by the meteor has infested the ruins with fiendish creatures and undead horrors—making the catacombs perilous and best avoided by all but the most daring.
